In this first of a 2 part session (attend one or both) you’ll learn about some tips, tricks and finds that have made life easier for innkeepers around the country. Part I will focus on the physical spaces of your inn, from flow, to design to automation, you’ll learn small, inexpensive ways to make your inn more self sufficient and free up some of your time.

Working Smarter, Not Harder – Part II – Your Digital Space

In the second part of this 2 part session learn some digital tips and tricks to automate your marketing and power up your digital presence. From optimizing your booking engine and directory listings, to the tips of writing a killer series of marketing emails, learn the most effective ways to manage all that you do online in a way that gives you the time you need to focus on the guests and yourself.

Expose Yourself (60 Minutes)

This hit session makes a great introduction or keynote presentation.  An energizing hour of part geekery, part marketing is tailored to almost any audience.   This one hour high energy presentation addresses the need for innkeepers to “expose themselves” in their marketing to put a face on their business.  Attendees will learn that by being yourself online, you will attract guests like yourself resulting in more satisfied guests and innkeepers.   Innkeepers will leave inspired and motivated, ready for more.

You don’t need to be an expert to attend this information packed session. However to ensure the most value to the attendees, participants should have a base understanding of the today’s standard web technology, including uploading photos, writing blog posts and posting to forums.

Bringing a computer is not required, but suggested for the tips and tricks segment as well as for bookmarking and notes.
